A team of delegates from Denmark met The Prime Minister RT Hon Nabbanja Robinah at the Office of the Prime Minister on Wednesday to discuss food security and Agricultural Investment opportunities in Uganda, and also to fortify the relationships between the two countries.
The delegation was led by the Danish Ambassador, Nicolaj Peterson, who said his country is interested in investing in agriculture and other sectors of the economy.
The Prime Minister assured the Danish delegation that Uganda is stable and has potential Agricultural prospects and business opportunities because the situation is hospitable, peaceful, and stable for investments.
“Your choice of investment in Uganda is indeed the right one.,”
Nabbanja said
The government is committed to removing any obstacle that would be encountered by the investors as they invest in the country. The Premier reassured the delegates, they don’t want any barriers during the investment process.
This has given the delegates courage to go ahead explore and inspect the various agricultural centers in the country.
The five companies visiting include; SKOV, a world leader in climate and farm management for animal production found in more than 50 countries with a specialty in ventilation and farm management for animal production, FOSS Analytics A/D a leading global provider of analytics for the food and agriculture industries, ROBCO that manufactures equipment and accessories for the production of twine, ropes and sacks, HOS Agronomy, providing advisory in agriculture and farm management, and Engsko, the manufacturers of high-quality millstones and tailor-made milling systems and equipment spanning a decade.
The Prime Minister recapped Uganda’s primacies is focused on investment in Value addition to creating employment.
