UNBS appoints acting ED

The National Standards Council (NSC) has appointed Mr Daniel Richard Makayi Nagalama (F2) as the Acting executive director of Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS). This comes after the bureau’s executive director, Mr David Livingstone Ebiru (F1) was sent on forced leave over mismanagement. Mr Ebiru last week confessed to offering Shs100 million bribe to NSC members to retain his job.
